Not much traffic, but got a ride easily to the next Raststätte.―Stevenheinen

On a sunday evening, without a sign.Quite bad, cars go fast in the entryway and there is not a lot of place to stop.
I still got a lift to Basel, but it was a bit risky I think. Might be safer to try to go on the D201 for a bit.

On a sunday evening, without a sign. Not that bad : two people stopped, and I ended up accepting a lift down to the motorway entry to try to reach Basel. But not a lot of place to stop...―JumpingRabbit

was getting desperate so just asked for rides into mulhouse from people here. better than at the on slip to the motorway if going west, but mostly drivers going to germany or locals from the shoping centre.―BI

great alternative to hitching from the border. we were a while standing on the on slip directly, but eventually we moved onto the road a little bit and one of the first french cars to pass stopped for us. theres good visibility and cars are already slowing down about to turn. at mid day on a weekday there was a decent amount of traffic, a lot of people in mulhouse commute to switzerland for work so you could catch a lot of french drivers going home after work around 5 or 6 potentially.―BI

we waited a lot of time and nobody was opening windows to ask, and the person which stopped only goes to Colmar (we wanted Strasbourg)―Anonymous

Wanted to go to Germany and than north. After 50 mins the first car to stop took me back to Basel close to the A5. Not the shortest route but better than staying here.―Anonymous

I think it's a good spot, better than the one nearby (though the other is a bit safer) because you get traffic even from south. I'd recommend having a sign bc there are more directions cars go (i didn't have one🙃 ) but got a ride to Mulhouse!―Anonymous

Not much traffic, maybe i was lucky but i got a ride from a woman tavelling to Munich trying to avoid expensive French highways, at 6 am. There is shopping area with toilets near and nice foresty spots to camp 2 km north (bit noisy though due to highway)―Anonymous

Good spot to hitchhike South. We asked the people at the gas station. The first couple took us to the service station behind Basel―Anonymous
